SkaDoc Code of Conduct

Building a trusted, respectful, and secure global space for verified physicians and medical professionals.

Cross-Platform Notice: These Do’s and Don’ts apply universally to all interactions across the SkaDoc Web Platform as well as our official iOS and Android applications.

SkaDoc is dedicated to providing healthcare professionals with a safe environment to collaborate, share clinical insights, and network. By using SkaDoc, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

✓ Community Do’s

1. Remember You Are Among Peers

Treat every member with the respect, collegiality, and professional etiquette expected in a clinical environment. Maintain a constructive tone even during tough discussions.

2. Complete Your Profile & Get Verified

Ensure your professional credentials and profile details are accurate. To verify your status and unlock community trust features, follow our Physician Profile Verification Guidelines.

3. Protect Patient Privacy (Strict HIPAA / GDPR Compliance)

Always de-identify patient cases before sharing. Remove all names, dates of birth, full faces, medical record numbers, and location details to maintain absolute confidentiality.

4. Share Knowledge & Cite Sources

Contribute clinical research, case studies, and medical insights. Always cite original authors, journals, or clinical trial sources when linking external materials.

5. Report Violations Responsibility

If you encounter content or conduct that breaches these standards on the web or within the iOS/Android apps, use the in-app flag tool to notify our moderation team immediately.

✕ Community Don’ts

1. Don't Share Patient Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

Uploading identifiable patient photos, unredacted scans, or identifiable medical data without explicit written consent is grounds for immediate account suspension.

2. Don't "Out" or Unmask Anonymous Peers

Respect member anonymity. Revealing the real-world identity, institution, or personal details of any member without their explicit permission is strictly prohibited.

3. Don't Spread Medical Disinformation

Promoting unverified cures, or medically unsupported advice that poses public health risks will result in swift account termination.

4. Don't Share Account Credentials

Your verified medical profile is non-transferable. Do not share your login details with colleagues, staff, or non-medical personnel on any device.

5. Don't Engage in Unsolicited Commercial Spam

Do not use SkaDoc for unauthorized promotional broadcasts, aggressive sales pitches, or unsolicited commercial messages across web or mobile apps.
